Mr Ayobami Alabi serves as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Empire Trust Microfinance Bank.

He holds an MBA (Financial Management) from Ladoke Akintola University, an MSC (Agricultural Economics) from the University of Ibadan, and a BSC in Agricultural Economics and Farm Management from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

He is a member of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, he also holds an MCP certification in Microfinance Banking from CIBN, Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management and member of Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN).

He has attended several trainings and workshops organized by the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Industrial Training Fund of Nigeria on Leadership and Financial Inclusion, Risk Management, and Microfinace Management.

He has over 22 years of experience in the finance sector and his professional experience spans organizations like First Bank, SEAP, Susu Microfinance and UBA. Prior to joining Citygate Group, he served as the Managing Director of Onyx Microfinance Bank from 2013 to 2018. While at SEAP and Susu, he served in various managerial capacities.

Adeyemi, Adetunji Oluwaseyi has 11 years experience in the Banking and Finance sector and has a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.

Mr Adeyemi holds several certifications which include the Microfinance Institution Certification Program (MCP) and Nigerian Institute Management (NIM).

Prior to joining this organization, he has worked as an Admin Manager, a Production Manager, and as a manager at various organizations.

Oluwatoyin Famuyide is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and a graduate member of Nigerian Institute of Management.

She completed her master’s degree in Organisational Behaviour in 2014 from the University of Lagos and her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Labour Relations in 2007 from Olabisi Onabanjo University.

She commenced her training as an HR practitioner in Nigerian Bag Manufacturing Company Plc. in 2009 and qualified as a Chartered Personnel in 2010.

She has worked as a HR Consultant in different Consulting Firms and she is currently the Head, Human Resources in Empire Trust

He holds Higher National Diploma (Distinction) in Accountancy from Osun State Polytechnic, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a Registered Member of Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) and a Microfinance Expert with certification from Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

He has over 8 (eight) years of experience in financial institutions and has partaken in several workshop and seminars organized by Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Nigeria Interbank Settlement System (NIBSS), Interswitch and Remita (Systemspec).

Before Empire Trust, he worked with Polyunwana Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited, Ebonyi State from year 2014 to 2021 and Pecan Trust Microfinance Bank, Lagos between 2021 and 2022.

Oluwasegun Awofeso supervises the risk-based compliance of policies and procedures. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Estate Management at Federal University of Technology, Akure and has over 9 years experience in the Banking and Finance sector.

He holds a certification of the Chartered Institute of Banking of Nigeria (CIBN), and Microfinance Certification Program (MCP). He has trained in Fraud based and Forensic Investigation, Strategic Planning, Risk management and Internal Control.

Prior to his employment at Empire Trust, Awofeso had worked at Stanbic IBTC as a Compliance Officer, and Westco Properties as an Account Personnel.

Suaib Adeniyi serves as the Head of Information Technology (IT) at Citygate Global Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State. He has 11 years of experience in the banking sector.

Adeniyi has received several certifications that have sharpened his IT skills.

Prior to joining Empire Trust, he worked as a Computer Analyst for Dalex Integrated Systems Ltd, where he assisted in building a robust Database Management System in managing numerous clients of the company.

Oluwafisayo Adekanmbi serves as the Head of Legal of the group. She hold an LL.M from the University of Lagos, a B.L. from the Nigeria Law School and an LL.B from Benson Idahosa University.

She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2011 and been trained on Internalizing CBN AML/CFT Administration Sanctions Regime. She has also attended a workshop on Loan Documentation and Post Disbursement Strategies. She is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association and the Society of Corporate Governance Nigeria.

Prior to working with Empire Trust, she worked as an Associate Counsel at the Law Firm of L.O. Oizimende & Co, later as a legal officer at ASO Savings and Loans. She also worked as an Associate at the law firm of Abiola Ashaolu & Co, and later as a Legal Officer at Refuge Mortgage Bank Ltd before joining Empire Trust.

Bukunola has over 13 years of banking experience spanning Operations, Teller, Cash Management, Customer Service etc and has been with the bank for over 5 years. Before joining Empire Trust, Bukunola worked with MIC MFB and Mayfair MFB as Customer Service Officer and Supervisory level respectively.

She holds a BSc in Computer Science from Lagos State University, Lagos State. She is a student member of Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN) Nigeria, MCIB, ACIB.
