Our Story

Empire Trust Microfinance Bank Limited was incorporated on 30th May 2014 with RC No 1193892 and registered office located at 35, Oba Akran Avenue Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. The bank was licensed on the 20th of November 2014 by Central Bank of Nigeria with the objectives to:

  1. Provide financial services to Micro, Small and Medium scale enterprises and other low-income people in Nigeria in form of working capital and loans.
  2. Provide the services of intervening and enhancing the capacity of the economically active population struggling to run a business to earn a living.
  3. Accept various type of deposit from individuals, associations and corporate organisations.
  4. Embark on other permissible activities as stipulated by prudential guidelines of Central Bank of Nigeria.
